Beyond The Classrooms
Origami
Folding paper crease by crease in origami can lead to various possibilities, such as a plane, flower, rabbit, or elephant. By allowing children to manipulate paper with their hands, they can improve their hand-eye coordination and perceptual skills, as well as develop a willingness to consider new perspectives. Practicing origami can also serve as a form of meditation, promoting patience and building positive social skills during a child’s formative years.
