Admission Process
At DIIS, we understand the importance of providing a well-rounded education for your child. Our admissions process is designed to make the transition into our school as smooth as possible for both your child and your family. We believe that it is not just about academic excellence but also about fostering social and emotional growth, as well as providing opportunities for extracurricular activities. By considering these aspects, you will have a better understanding of what the Disha Indian International School experience can offer your child.
We accept students throughout the year and encourage parents to apply as early as possible to secure a spot for their child. The application process can be expedited by submitting all the necessary documents as outlined in the application form. Our admissions team will begin reviewing the application only after all required documents have been submitted. We look forward to welcoming your child and your family to the DIIS community.
DIIS offers three options for prospective parents to admit their child Visit, Inquire, or Apply. We invite prospective parents to schedule a visit to our school to experience our learning environment and meet with our staff to answer any questions. If you prefer, you can inquire through the school website or the online form can be filled out for immediate application.
In order to simplify the enrollment procedure, DIIS offers two alternatives:
1.You can apply online via the school’s website under the admission section.
2.Alternatively, you can obtain the admission form by sending an email request to admissions@diisjapan.com or by visiting the school in person.
If you opt for the latter and decide to complete the form during your visit, our team will be available to aid you and arrange a family interview on a mutual agreed date.
The enrollment steps include:
Parents are encouraged to review the Admission policy on the school’s website and submit the admission form either online or in person.
Upon completion of an Admission Form, the DIIS Admission Committee sends an email invitation for a Family Interview and school tour to the prospective parents. While you can gain much information online and via email, a visit to DIIS provides the most comprehensive understanding of our school. We eagerly anticipate showing you around campus, addressing your inquiries, and guiding you through the admission procedure. Please bring original copies of all documents listed in the admission form.
Admission decisions by the committee will be informed within 7 working days.Decision may be given when: All necessary documents have been submitted and results of the interview meet or exceed expectations.
After the successfull outcome of the admission process, an invoice will be generated and send to the parents. Parents are requested to deposit the registration fee (non-refundable) of 30000 Yen within 7 working days after recieving the invoice for securing the admission of their child.
A welcome document with information for the first day of school will be sent, consisting of:
(a) Welcome letter from the Principal.
(b) Login credentials to school portals.
(c) Bus routes and Stops.
(d) Textbook, Uniform and Students Diary collection day.
